Responsibilities:
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains general ledger, prepares a trial balance, reconciles entries, and resolves discrepancies.
- Monitor income and expenses in various companies.
- Prepare financial reports to analyze business performance.
- Assist in producing payroll, processing, printing checks, and reviewing for accuracy.
- Completes external audits by analyzing, reconciling general ledger accounts, and providing requested information for auditors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as Viewpoint Vista or Sage.)
- Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
