Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Maintains general ledger, prepares a trial balance, reconciles entries, and resolves discrepancies.
  • Monitor income and expenses in various companies.
  • Prepare financial reports to analyze business performance.
  • Assist in producing payroll, processing, printing checks, and reviewing for accuracy.
  • Completes external audits by analyzing, reconciling general ledger accounts, and providing requested information for auditors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as Viewpoint Vista or Sage.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a base salary of $85,000 – $95,000 per annum, medical and dental insurance, a 401k plan, group term life insurance, and paid time off.
