Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accounting and financial reporting functions of the company
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll
  • Prepare and file all necessary tax and regulatory reports
  • Review and approve all vendor and subcontractor invoices
  • Manage cash flow and ensure adequate funding for ongoing projects
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting for all projects
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as Viewpoint Vista or Sage)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • CPA designation preferred but not required

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a base salary of $115,000 – $125,000 per annum, medical and dental insurance, 401k plan, and paid time off.
